To support growth, an experienced Maintenance Technician is sought who will be responsible for carrying out maintenance activities and engine disassembly associated with Willis Group and client-owned aero engines, modules, and transportation stands. Undertaking all maintenance activities assigned by the Maintenance Team Leader and Operations Director within IAW CAA & EASA 145 maintenance level approval as recorded within the latest revision of the company Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all maintenance tasks assigned by the Maintenance Team Leader and Operations Director.
- Ensure all work complies with CAA and EASA Part 145 approvals and the latest Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
- Perform engine disassembly in accordance with the relevant OEM Engine Shop Manuals.
- Keep up to date with all applicable airworthiness, CAA and EASA regulatory requirements.
- Confidently navigate and interpret OEM technical manuals, including EMM, AMM, PPBUM, IPC and SPM.
- Complete all maintenance activities in line with OEM instructions.
- Use approved tooling and procedures at all times.
- Report any maintenance or documentation errors to the Maintenance Team Leader in accordance with CAA and EASA Mandatory Occurrence Reporting (MOR) requirements and company reporting procedures.
- Occasional Travel.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an aviation maintenance environment, carrying out maintenance and inspections on mid- to large-thrust commercial aircraft engines.
- Hands-on experience with engine types such as CFM, V2500, LEAP, Pratt & Whitney and GTF is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations and quality standards, including AS9110, CAA Part 145, EASA Part 145 and FAR Part 145.
- Familiar with Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and FAA Supplement procedures, with the ability to apply them accurately during maintenance activities.
- Well-organised, self-motivated and able to communicate effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across WERC, including with Maintenance, Compliance, Warehouse, HR, IT, Finance and Logistics teams.
- Attend regular team and planning meetings led by the Workshop Team Leader and Maintenance Planning Engineer.
- Provide clear and timely updates on work progress, schedules, challenges and completed maintenance activities to the Workshop Team Leader and Maintenance Planning Engineer.
