We’re looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Support Specialist to join our team at our Teesside facility. This hybrid role combines hands-on technical support with systems and infrastructure management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working closely with end users and stakeholders.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our IT environment secure, resilient, and running smoothly while also supporting colleagues with day-to-day technical needs and larger project work.

  • Providing advanced technical support via help desk tickets, phone, email, and in-person requests
  • Supporting and maintaining Microsoft-based environments, including M365, Azure, VMWare, and virtualization platforms
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining network systems, hardware, and software
  • Managing IT asset inventory and lifecycle (hardware, software, peripherals)
  • Supporting workstation moves, system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex IT issues
  • Working with vendors and suppliers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair IT assets
  • Delivering technical training and knowledge transfer to IT team members
  • Participating in project planning and delivery across the business
  • Providing out-of-hours and weekend support when required

Strong experience with Microsoft operating systems, O365/M365, Azure, and networking technologies. Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN, security protocols, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Confident using Active Directory, password security, and asset management tools. PC hardware/software support, deployment, and troubleshooting. Supporting enterprise IT environments (networks, telephony, security).

Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
