We're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team at our Teesside facility. This hybrid role combines hands-on technical support with systems and infrastructure management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working closely with end users and stakeholders.
You'll play a key role in keeping our IT environment secure, resilient, and running smoothly while also supporting colleagues with day-to-day technical needs and larger project work.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing advanced technical support via help desk tickets, phone, email, and in-person requests
- Managing, configuring, and supporting end-user devices (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices)
- Administering Active Directory (users, groups, permissions, devices)
- Supporting and maintaining Microsoft-based environments, including M365, Azure, VMWare, and virtualization platforms
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining network systems, hardware, and software
- Managing IT asset inventory and lifecycle (hardware, software, peripherals)
- Supporting workstation moves, system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
- Acting as an escalation point for complex IT issues
- Working with vendors and suppliers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair IT assets
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation, processes, and procedures
- Delivering technical training and knowledge
