We are currently recruiting an experienced Stores Manager with proven aviation stores management experience and a background in leading a small team. This position is central to ensuring that all aircraft parts, tooling, consumables, and materials are efficiently managed, compliant, and readily available to support ongoing maintenance operations.
You will be responsible for inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, process improvement, and the daily performance and development of the stores team.
Responsibilities- Manage all stores operations, including receipt, storage, issuing, and shipment of parts and materials.
- Maintain accurate stock levels using inventory management systems.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations (traceability, certification, shelf-life control, storage conditions).
- Lead, train, and support the stores team, fostering a collaborative, safe, and efficient working environment.
- Liaise with Customer Support, Maintenance, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure timely availability of parts and tools.
- Monitor, review, and improve stock control and stores processes.
- Maintain audit readiness and support both internal and external audits.
- Manage repairs, tooling registers, and calibration schedules.
- Support the maintenance team by ensuring all required materials and resources are available.
- Experience supervising or managing a small team.
- Strong understanding of aircraft parts certification, material handling, and regulatory compliance.
- Highly driven, resilient, and proactive.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HF, EWIS, & FTS.
