Are you an experienced logistics professional who thrives on precision, global coordination, and keeping complex operations running smoothly? We’re looking for an Imports/Exports Controller to join our International Transportation team at Willis Aviation Services Ltd (WASL) in Teesside.

In this key role, you’ll manage the international movement of aircraft engines and aviation equipment, supporting both company-owned and customer-owned assets while ensuring full compliance with HMRC, AEOC, and global customs regulations.

What You’ll Do
  • Take ownership of import/export operations for aircraft engines, stands, and parts across global locations.
  • Ensure customs and regulatory compliance (IPR, CFSP, End Use, Free Circulation, etc.) and accurate documentation at every stage.
  • Manage all shipping, logistics and transportation activities, coordinating between internal teams, freight forwarders, and customers.
  • Oversee the bonded warehouse, maintaining customs control and conducting regular audits.
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations and Contracts to optimise costs, processes, and compliance.
What You’ll Bring

  • Experience working with freight forwarders, logistics providers and regulatory bodies.
