Willis Aviation Services Limited is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, technically diverse role responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of our core IT infrastructure. You will support and enhance enterprise-wide systems including servers, networks, telecommunications and end-user devices, ensuring secure, reliable and high-performing technology services across the business. You will play a key role in implementing new systems, upgrading existing infrastructure, managing projects, supporting helpdesk escalations, and strengthening enterprise-level security. This role requires someone who keeps up to date with emerging technologies and can confidently articulate the value of IT solutions to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and deliver IT projects, policies and technical initiatives
- Install, configure and maintain enterprise network systems, hardware, software and peripherals
- Monitor and optimise Data Centre and Microsoft Azure operations to ensure maximum uptime
- Perform network and system administration duties
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and escalation management
- Respond to helpdesk tickets, calls and email support requests in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain network security, data integrity and system security procedures
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Manage IT asset inventory and hardware lifecycle
- Prepare and deploy computer systems across the organisation
- Deliver technical guidance and knowledge transfer within the IT team
- Produce and maintain documentation for systems, processes and procedures
- Provide occasional travel support, including inter-site and potential international travel
- Support after-hours or weekend work where business needs require

Technical Experience Required
- Extensive experience with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Solid understanding of networking standards, protocols, security and performance optimisation
- Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V)
- Enterprise infrastructure and systems administration experience

- Full driving licence required (equipment transportation between sites may be necessary)
