Ready to take the lead in your avionics career? We're looking for an experienced Lead Avionics Mechanic to join the team at Willis Aviation Services Limited (WASL) in Teesside. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a growing Part-145 maintenance organisation, leading by example while carrying out hands-on avionics maintenance across a variety of aircraft. If you thrive in a fast-paced maintenance environment, enjoy solving complex technical problems, and take pride in mentoring and supporting others, we'd love to hear from you.

The role will see you:

  • Leading and supporting a team of Avionics Mechanics
  • Carrying out aircraft avionics maintenance, repairs, modifications and fault finding
  • Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with Part-145 requirements
  • Maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance and documentation

We're looking for someone with:

  • A recognised aircraft avionics qualification or apprenticeship
  • At least 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience within an avionics or electrical discipline
  • Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft wiring and electrical systems
  • Experience within a Part-145 environment (desirable)
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring engineers (desirable)
