After School Club Assistant
Vacancy: Total of 15 hours per week – 3.00 to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday during term time (38 weeks a year). Job shares may be considered.
Salary: £24,413 to £24,796 pro‑rata (actual £8,276 to £8,405).
Position: Scale 1C – Point 2‑3.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in offering a range of creative and appropriate play opportunities for children in Reception through Year 6.
- Support children to engage in and develop from playful activities.
- Help create a safe, fun and fulfilling home‑from‑home environment, including asking how their school day was, playing games and providing a meal before they go home.
- Work as part of a small, friendly team of play workers.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Mandatory DBS check and disqualification declaration.
- Enhanced DBS check, Barred List checks and two positive references.
