Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to support the leadership of a warm and welcoming early years setting.   • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) essential.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS safeguarding and childcare regulations.
  • Proven experience working in an early years setting within a leadership role - Room Leader, Deputy Nursery Manager or equivalent.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with children, parents and staff.
  • Passion for creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating early years environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the nursery ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards, policies and regulations.
  • Lead by example to maintain a high standard of care and education across all age groups.
  • Mentor, supervise and inspire a team of early years practitioners, encouraging professional growth and teamwork.
  • Build strong positive relationships with children, parents and carers, ensuring open communication and trust.
