Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the day-to-day running of your room, creating a stimulating and nurturing environment for children
  • Planning and delivering a rich mix of creative play, focused learning, and group-led activities in line with EYFS
  • Making full use of the nursery's well-resourced environment to provide varied, engaging experiences every day
  • Supporting children's development and school readiness, contributing to the nursery's strong preparation outcomes
  • Observing and documenting children's progress, sharing updates meaningfully with families
  • Mentoring and supporting room-based staff, acting as a positive and consistent role model
  • Contributing to the wider nursery team and upholding the setting's Good Ofsted standards
