Nursing Home Manager

£70,000 per annum + Bonus Scheme

We're recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to lead a highly regarded nursing home specialising in dementia and nursing care for older adults. We're looking for a confident and forward-thinking leader who can drive performance, nurture talent, and ensure residents receive the highest quality care every day.

What We're Looking For

  • Nurse qualified with an active NMC registration (RGN or RMN) or Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a nursing home setting
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proven track record of achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within elderly care services
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Strong understanding of dementia care and nursing home operations
  • Ability to manage budgets, occupancy, quality, and performance effectively

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the nursing home
  • Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and resident wellbeing
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation
  • Drive quality improvements and continuous service development
  • Lead, support, and develop nursing, care, and management teams
  • Manage occupancy, budgets, and overall home performance
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders
  • Oversee recruitment, retention, and staff development initiatives
  • Promote a culture of person-centred care and clinical excellence
