A fantastic opportunity has become available for a passionate and dedicated Toddler Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery that is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and early years education. This role offers the chance to lead a thriving toddler room, support children's development, and play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Working closely with the management team, you'll lead a team of practitioners while ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained. Hours: 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern between 7:30am and 6:00pm.

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification – essential
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Supervisor, or experienced Early Years Educator
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to inspire and support colleagues
  • Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education
  • Organised, proactive, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the toddler room
  • Deliver high-quality childcare and early years education
  • Plan and implement engaging activities in line with EYFS
  • Monitor and support children's learning and development
  • Complete observations, assessments, and learning records
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Support, mentor, and motivate nursery practitioners within the room
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to maintain high standards

This role would suit an experienced Room Leader, Toddler Room Leader, Nursery Room Leader, Senior Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Supervisor, or Level 3 Early Years Educator looking to progress their career within a supportive nursery environment.
