  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN - RGN, RMN, RNLD or Children's Nurse considered
  • Completed preceptorship is essential - newly qualified nurses will not be considered for this role
  • Experience within a mental health, eating disorders or specialist CAMHS setting - highly desirable
  • A compassionate, patient and trauma-informed approach to care
  • Ability to work effectively within a small, close-knit multi-disciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to young people with eating disorders within a specialist CAMHS setting
  • Carry out thorough assessments of physical and mental health needs, developing and reviewing care plans accordingly
  • Monitor and manage the physical health of young people, recognising and responding promptly to any deterioration
  • Support young people through their treatment journey with compassion, consistency and a trauma-informed approach
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team including psychiatrists, therapists and dietitians
  • Build trusted therapeutic relationships with young people and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation in line with NMC standards
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the service
