Field Care Supervisor – Domiciliary Care
£13.35 per hour | 22.5 Hours per Week | 3 Days per Week
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle – essential
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong domiciliary or community care experience who is ready to take on more responsibility while remaining closely connected to the people receiving and delivering care.
Working primarily across Wakefield, with occasional travel across Huddersfield and Kirklees, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the quality of care being delivered in the community. From completing customer reviews and Care Assistant observations to medication competency checks and compliance audits, you’ll help ensure consistently safe and person-centred care.
Previous Field Care Supervisor experience would be beneficial, but we’re also open to an experienced Senior Care Assistant or Care Assistant who is ready to progress into
a supervisory role, with training and support provided.

What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Health and Social Care
- Strong experience within domiciliary or community care
- Previous Field Care Supervisor or similar experience would be beneficial
- Experienced Senior Care Assistants or Care Assistants ready for progression will also be considered
- Good understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding and compliance
- Confidence supporting and supervising Care Assistants in the community
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Comfortable completing care documentation, audits and competency checks
- Confident communicating with customers, families and care colleagues
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for quality standards

Key Details

- Paid on-call approximately 1 in 3 weekends
- Training and support available for candidates progressing into their first supervisory position
Your Role in the Community
- Complete customer care reviews and assessments
- Carry out Care Assistant spot checks and observations
- Complete medication competency checks
- Support and supervise Care Assistants in the field
- Carry out quality and compliance audits
- Review care documentation and identify areas requiring action
- Help ensure care is delivered safely and in line with individual care plans
- Support the office team with the day-to-day quality and compliance of the service
- Travel across Wakefield and, when required, Huddersfield and Kirklees
- Participate in the paid on-call rota
