Nursing Home Manager

£65,000 per year + Bonus Scheme | Good CQC

This Good CQC-rated nursing home provides nursing, residential and dementia care for older adults in a peaceful and picturesque setting. Beautifully decorated interiors create a warm and comfortable atmosphere, while the home’s wonderful country garden gives residents a tranquil outdoor space to relax, spend time with family and enjoy the changing seasons.

We’re looking for an established Nursing Home Manager with the experience and confidence to lead the home, support its team and continue building on its positive standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Nursing Home Manager experience – essential
  • Ideally RGN or RMN qualified with an active NMC registration, alternatively, a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care
  • Strong experience within nursing, residential and dementia care
  • A good understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and regulatory compliance
  • Experience maintaining and improving care quality and standards
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience and confidence managing staffing, budgets, occupancy and the wider operation of the home
  • Good knowledge of clinical governance, risk management and quality assurance

Leading the Home

  • Take overall responsibility for the successful day-to-day running of the nursing home
  • Maintain and build upon the home’s Good CQC standards
  • Lead, support and develop nursing, care and support teams
  • Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and personalised care
  • Oversee safeguarding, compliance, clinical governance and quality assurance
  • Monitor staffing levels, recruitment, retention and team performance
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively while maintaining high standards
  • Support healthy occupancy and the long-term success of the home
  • Develop strong relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals
  • Create a positive culture where residents feel respected and colleagues feel supported
