Care Team Leader - Supported Living Service for Younger Adults

Up to Β£35,360 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week | Including Evenings, Nights & Weekends

Our client is looking for a compassionate and motivated Care Team Leader to join their supported living service for younger adults. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care while supporting and motivating a dedicated team.

The service is committed to helping younger adults live as independently as possible, encouraging choice, confidence, and meaningful outcomes. As Care Team Leader, you'll lead by example, ensuring high standards of care are maintained while supporting the day-to-day running of the service across a varied shift pattern, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or above
  • Previous experience as a Care Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, or similar senior role
  • Experience supporting younger adults within a supported living or similar care setting
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good understanding of safeguarding, person-centred care, medication management, and positive behaviour support
  • Flexible to work a rota including evenings, nights, and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the care team during each shift
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to younger adults
  • Promote independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion
  • Administer and oversee medication in line with policies and procedures
  • Support, mentor, and guide Support Workers during their shifts
  • Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and daily records are completed accurately
  • Respond appropriately to incidents and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the service
