Registered Home Manager (Nurse Qualified)

Salary: Up to Β£60,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a warm and welcoming nursing home supporting older adults with nursing and residential care needs.

Located in a quiet residential area, the home offers a peaceful and homely environment where residents are encouraged to maintain their independence while receiving high-quality, person-centred care. With a dedicated team and a strong focus on resident wellbeing, the service has built a positive reputation for delivering compassionate care in a comfortable and supportive setting.

We're looking for a nurse-qualified leader who can build on this success, maintain high standards, and continue driving excellent outcomes for residents, families, and staff.

Who We're Looking For

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN)
  • Active NMC registration
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Home Manager or Nursing Home Manager
  • Proven history of achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance
  • Experience managing occupancy, budgets, recruitment, and team performance
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional elderly care

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the nursing home
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing and residential care
  • Maintain compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead, support, and develop the staff team
  • Monitor home performance, occupancy, and quality outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders
  • Promote a culture focused on dignity, respect, and person-centred care
