This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Registered Care Home Manager to take the lead of a modern, purpose-built home providing high-quality residential and dementia care for older adults.

We're looking for an experienced manager who understands both sides of running a successful care home: delivering exceptional, person-centred care while confidently managing people, quality, occupancy, budgets and operational performance.

What We're Looking For

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent.

  • Proven management experience within an older people's residential or nursing care home .
  • Strong track record of successfully managing and developing a care service.
  • Excellent understanding of

CQC regulations, safeguarding and regulatory compliance .

  • Experience managing budgets, financial performance and cost control .
  • Strong understanding of occupancy management and the ability to support sustainable growth.
  • Experience leading, recruiting, developing and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Confidence monitoring quality and implementing effective improvement plans.
  • Good knowledge of dementia care and the needs of older adults.
  • Strong commercial awareness alongside a genuine commitment to person-centred care.

As Registered Care Home Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the quality, culture and performance of the service. Your role will include:

  • Provide strong and visible leadership across the home.
  • Ensure residents receive consistently high-quality, personalised care.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC requirements and work towards achieving the highest possible regulatory standards.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the home's management, care and support teams.
  • Take responsibility for budgets, staffing costs and overall financial performance.
  • Monitor and develop occupancy, supporting enquiries and admissions while building positive relationships within the local community.
  • Oversee safeguarding, complaints, incidents and risk management.
  • Use audits, feedback and quality indicators to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the home operates safely, effectively and sustainably.
