Job Description

  • Nursery Manager
  • £49,500 per year | 40 Hours per Week | All Year Round

Lead a nursery where children are inspired to learn, teams are supported to succeed, and quality comes first.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to join a well-established early years setting that provides exceptional childcare and education for children from birth to five years old.

What We’re Looking For

Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are consistently achieved.
  • Inspire, motivate, and develop a team of Early Years professionals to deliver outstanding practice.
  • Maintain compliance with the EYFS framework, safeguarding legislation, and all statutory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support the nursery's ongoing success.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, supervisions, and performance management.
  • Manage occupancy, budgets, and resources to ensure the nursery continues to thrive.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive culture where children and staff feel valued and supported.
