As Care and Compliance Manager for the South West region, you'll be the driving force behind quality and compliance across a portfolio of homes - conducting audits, developing improvement plans, shaping policy, and supporting home-based teams to deliver care at the highest standard.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current, valid NMC PIN - essential
- Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager or in a similar compliance, quality, or regional role - essential
- Strong, working knowledge of CQC standards, regulations, and inspection processes
- Experience conducting audits and developing improvement plans within a care setting
- Confident working independently across a regional patch with minimal day-to-day supervision
- Full driving licence - essential for this field-based role

Key Responsibilities
- Conducting regular clinical and compliance audits across homes in the South West region
- Developing clear, actionable improvement plans following audits and monitoring progress to completion
- Supporting homes in preparing for and responding to CQC inspections
- Developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice
- Identifying areas of risk and working proactively with home-based teams to address them
- Providing guidance, support, and challenge to Home Managers on clinical and compliance matters
- Monitoring and reporting on quality metrics across the region, escalating concerns to senior leadership as required
- Keeping up to date with changes in CQC regulation, legislation, and sector best practice
