Our client provides both long-term nursing care and post-surgical rehabilitation, supporting residents with a wide range of complex clinical needs. They are now looking for an experienced Charge Nurse to provide strong clinical leadership and support the continued delivery of exceptional care. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior nurse who enjoys leading teams, maintaining high clinical standards, and driving continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Active NMC registration as an RGN
- A minimum of three years' experience in a senior nursing position, such as Charge Nurse, Clinical Lead, or Deputy Manager.
- Previous experience within a nursing home or hospital setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and excellent understanding of clinical governance and regulatory requirements.
- Confident leading, mentoring, and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
Your Role
- Lead the clinical team, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care is delivered at all times.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to nurses and care staff, promoting best practice throughout the service.
- Oversee clinical assessments, care planning, medication management, and risk assessments.
- Support residents requiring both long-term nursing care and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Monitor clinical performance and contribute to audits, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, GPs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with NMC standards and CQC regulations.
- Promote a culture of compassion, professionalism, and continuous improvement across the service.
