What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a
Sous Chef or Senior Chef.
- Experience within a nursing home, care home, healthcare, or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of allergens, food safety, and specialist diets.
- Understanding of nutrition and hydration for older adults.
- Passion for producing high-quality, well-presented meals.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- A positive, team-focused approach with excellent communication skills.

Your Role
- Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Prepare and cook high-quality, nutritious meals for residents and visitors.
- Deliver a restaurant-style dining experience with excellent presentation and attention to detail.
- Cater for a range of dietary requirements, allergies, texture-modified meals, and specialist diets.
- Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
- Monitor food quality, stock levels, and minimise waste.
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team to support residents' nutritional and hydration needs.
- Maintain compliance with food safety legislation and company policies.
