This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to take the lead of a setting at the beginning of its next chapter.

Following a recent programme of renovations, the nursery is ready to reopen, offering a refreshed environment with bright, spacious rooms designed to support children's learning, development and independence.

Outside, a large garden complete with a vegetable patch provides plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures, gardening, exploration and hands-on learning.

We're looking for a confident and accomplished Nursery Manager who can bring the setting back to life – building a strong team, establishing an excellent culture and ensuring high standards are embedded from day one.

With a £55,000 basic salary and bonus scheme offering earning potential of up to £60,000, this is a fantastic opportunity for a manager with a strong track record of achieving positive Ofsted outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant

Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.

Substantial experience as a Nursery Manager is essential.

  • A strong and demonstrable track record with Ofsted , including positive inspection outcomes.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and Early Years best practice.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience recruiting, leading and developing high-performing nursery teams.
  • Confidence establishing strong standards, routines and expectations across a setting.
  • Experience monitoring quality and implementing effective improvement plans.
  • Strong understanding of occupancy, staffing and the operational requirements
  • A visible, motivational and hands-on management style.

  • Your Opportunity

As Nursery Manager, you'll take ownership of the successful reopening and ongoing development of the setting. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the nursery through its reopening following renovation .
  • Establish a positive, professional and supportive culture from the outset.
  • Recruit, lead, motivate and develop the nursery team.
  • Maintain excellent standards of care, education and safeguarding.
  • Ensure the EYFS is delivered consistently and effectively across all rooms.
  • Drive quality improvement and maintain strong preparation for future Ofsted inspections.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
  • Oversee staffing, occupancy and the day-to-day operational performance of the setting.
  • Ensure regulatory, health and safety and safeguarding requirements are consistently met.
