How to prepare for a job interview at Willingcare
✨Know Your EYFS Inside Out
Make sure you’re well-versed in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Brush up on how it applies to your teaching style and be ready to discuss how you’ve implemented it in previous roles. This shows you’re not just familiar with the guidelines but can also apply them effectively.
✨Showcase Your Communication Skills
Since strong communication with parents and colleagues is key, prepare examples of how you've successfully built relationships in past roles. Think about specific situations where your communication made a difference, whether it was resolving a concern or sharing a child's progress.
✨Bring Your Creativity to the Table
The nursery values a creative curriculum, so come prepared with ideas for engaging activities that promote learning through play. Share examples of activities you’ve led that encouraged exploration and confidence in children, and be ready to discuss how you adapt these for different age groups.
✨Emphasise Your Team Spirit
This role requires collaboration, so highlight your teamwork skills. Prepare to talk about how you’ve worked as part of a team in previous positions, including any challenges you faced and how you overcame them together.
