Room Leader

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join their friendly nursery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident early years professional who enjoys supporting children to thrive while mentoring colleagues and maintaining high standards of practice within the room.
Designed to feel warm, welcoming, and child-centred, the nursery provides carefully planned learning environments tailored to different age groups. Inviting outdoor spaces encourage exploration, physical development, and imaginative play, creating opportunities for children to learn through meaningful experiences both indoors and outdoors.

What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar role
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues
- A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
- Support, mentor, and develop team members within the room
- Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences that support children's development
- Monitor children's progress through observations and assessments
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Promote high standards of practice across the room
- Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
