Nursery Manager – Level 3+
£45,000–£50,000 per Annum + Bonus Scheme | 40 Hours per Week
Are you an experienced Nursery Manager with a proven track record of leading successful Early Years settings and inspiring high-performing teams?
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead at a beautifully refurbished nursery, offering a welcoming and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, develop independence and build confidence through play.
The nursery benefits from free-flow access between indoor and outdoor learning spaces, with a large outdoor area offering plenty of opportunities for discovery, creativity and physical development. A dedicated pre-school programme also helps children develop the confidence, independence and essential skills they need for a smooth transition into school.
We're looking for a confident, hands-on Nursery Manager who can bring strong leadership, maintain high standards of care and education, and continue developing a positive environment for children, families and staff.
What We're Looking For
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above – essential
- Previous experience as a Nursery Manager with a strong track record – essential
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements and safeguarding
- Proven experience leading, motivating and developing nursery teams
- Confidence managing nursery operations, staffing, occupancy and budgets
- Experience maintaining high standards of care, education and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
- A passion for child-led learning, outdoor exploration and continuous improvement

Leading the Nursery
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education
- Lead, motivate and develop the nursery team, creating a positive working environment
- Ensure the curriculum and learning experiences are delivered in line with the EYFS
- Manage staffing, recruitment, occupancy, budgets and nursery performance
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted compliance
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider nursery community
- Support staff development through mentoring, training and performance management
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain an excellent standard of Early Years provision
