This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a well-established nursing home supporting older adults with nursing and dementia care needs.

Surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, the home provides a comfortable and welcoming environment where residents receive individualised care while being supported to maintain their dignity, independence and choices.

With a Good CQC rating, the home already has strong foundations in place.

We're looking for a manager who can build on these, bringing a strong clinical and operational background alongside the leadership experience needed to maintain quality, develop the team and drive the service forward.

What We're Looking For

  • Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN) or Level 5 Health and Social Care
  • A minimum of

2 years' experience as a Registered Home Manager within a care or nursing home.

  • Strong clinical and operational management experience .
  • Excellent working knowledge of

CQC regulations and inspection requirements .

  • Proven experience maintaining and improving quality and compliance within a regulated care service.
  • Strong understanding of nursing and dementia care for older adults.
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance, risk management and medication standards.
  • Confidence managing staffing, service performance and the wider day-to-day operation of a home.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and ensure actions are implemented and sustained.

Your Role

  • Take overall responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the nursing home.
  • Provide strong leadership to nursing, care and support teams.
  • Ensure residents receive consistently high-quality, person-centred nursing and dementia care.
  • Maintain compliance with

CQC regulations and support the home in achieving strong inspection outcomes.

  • Oversee clinical governance, safeguarding, medication management and risk management.
  • Monitor quality through audits, observations, feedback and performance indicators.
  • Recruit, coach and develop colleagues, creating a positive and high-performing team culture.
  • Work closely with clinical colleagues to maintain excellent standards across the service.
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, relatives and external healthcare professionals.
  • Manage operational performance and ensure the home is appropriately staffed and effectively organised.
  • Lead continuous improvement and ensure high standards are embedded into everyday practice.
