They are now looking for an experienced and clinically strong Deputy Nurse Manager to work closely alongside the Home Manager, drive the highest standards of care, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this outstanding setting.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Current, unrestricted NMC registration - RGN or RMN essential
  • Proven nursing home experience - essential
  • Demonstrable managerial or senior leadership experience within a care home setting - essential
  • Clinically strong, with experience across residential, dementia, and nursing care
  • A confident, compassionate leader with the ability to inspire and develop a team
  • Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and person-centred care principles
  • A genuine passion for delivering luxury, high-quality care to older adults

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day clinical and operational leadership of the home
  • Acting as a senior clinical presence, providing guidance and support to the nursing and care team
  • Overseeing care assessments, care planning, and reviews across residential, dementia, and nursing care
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and all relevant legislation
  • Leading on clinical audits, governance, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Building strong, meaningful relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Supporting the recruitment, induction, and development of nursing staff
  • Deputising for the Home Manager, maintaining strong leadership and continuity of care in their absence
