Level 3 Room Leader
£30,800 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week
We’re looking for an experienced Room Leader to join our client’s Good Ofsted-rated nursery where children's curiosity, creativity, and individuality are at the heart of everything they do.
The nursery provides bright, spacious learning environments designed to inspire exploration and support every stage of children's development. Outdoor learning is a key part of the nursery's approach. Children benefit from well-sized gardens designed for different age groups, providing daily opportunities to explore nature, develop physical skills, engage in imaginative play, and learn through hands-on experiences.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive nursery that values high-quality practice, leadership, and professional development.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues
- A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
- Support, mentor, and develop team members
- Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences that support children's development
- Monitor children's progress through observations and assessments
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Make full use of the nursery's outdoor learning environments to enhance children's experiences
- Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
