Job Description

  • Nursery Manager
  • Up to £53,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a vibrant, child-centred nursery that offers children days filled with fun and adventure.

With bright, airy age-specific rooms, plenty of space to explore, and an impressive outdoor environment featuring a mud kitchen, gardening area, and exciting opportunities for outdoor play, the nursery encourages children to develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced nursery manager who holds a full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or above) and has a proven track record in nursery management.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, a solid understanding of Ofsted requirements, and a passion for delivering high-quality early years education.

Your Role

  • Lead the day-to-day management and overall performance of the nursery.
  • Inspire, develop, and support the nursery team to deliver outstanding early years practice.
  • Maintain effective regulatory compliance, ensuring the nursery consistently meets statutory and Ofsted requirements.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives across all areas of the setting.
  • Promote high-quality pedagogy, innovative teaching approaches, and exceptional learning experiences.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and external professionals.
  • Oversee occupancy, staffing, budgets, and the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Create a positive, inclusive culture where children and practitioners can flourish.
