Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

Up to £17,100 per annum | 27 Hours Per Week | Tuesday to Thursday

We’re looking for a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our client’s friendly nursery team on a 27-hour contract, working Tuesday to Thursday. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early years professional who wants to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while benefiting from a great work-life balance.

The nursery provides high-quality childcare within a caring, vibrant, and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, create, and develop confidence through play. What We're Looking For

  • Level 2 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of high-quality care and education
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in engaging activities that support children's learning and development
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Support children's emotional, social, and physical development
  • Assist with observations and children's learning records
  • Make full use of indoor and outdoor learning environments
  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
