Domiciliary Care Manager
£45,000 per year + Bonus Scheme
This is an opportunity for an experienced Registered Domiciliary Care Manager who wants to take real ownership of a service – leading the team, maintaining strong standards and playing an active role in growing and developing the branch.
We’re looking for someone who understands both sides of successfully running a domiciliary care service. Quality, safeguarding and CQC compliance must remain consistently strong, but you’ll also need the business acumen and drive to develop the service, build relationships, increase care hours and create sustainable growth.
You’ll lead from the front, developing the team around you while ensuring people receiving care continue to receive a safe, reliable and genuinely person-centred service.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent – essential
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager of a domiciliary care service – essential
- Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations and standards
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, quality assurance and compliance
- Excellent business acumen with a genuine desire to grow and develop the service
- Experience driving branch performance and identifying opportunities for growth
- Confidence building relationships with commissioners, local authorities and other referral partners
- Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, developing and retaining care teams
- Good understanding of staffing, care hours, budgets and branch performance
- Strong organisational and decision-making skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car – essential

Leading & Growing the Service
- Take overall responsibility for the successful day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service
- Maintain high standards across CQC compliance, safeguarding and quality assurance
- Lead, motivate and develop the branch and care teams
- Drive the continued growth and development of the service
- Build relationships with commissioners, professionals and referral partners
- Identify opportunities to increase care hours and strengthen the branch
- Monitor service performance and take action where improvements are needed
- Oversee recruitment, retention, supervision and staff development
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments and documentation remain accurate and compliant
- Manage complaints, incidents and safeguarding concerns appropriately
- Ensure clients receive consistently safe and person-centred care
- Balance quality outcomes with the wider operational and financial performance of the branch
