They are now looking for an experienced and clinically qualified Nursing Home Manager to take overall responsibility for the clinical and operational leadership of the home - ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are delivered in a safe, effective, and compassionate manner, in full compliance with CQC's fundamental standards of quality and safety.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current, valid NMC PIN - essential
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a nursing home setting - essential
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards, regulations, and inspection processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead clinically and operationally at the highest level
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care to older adults
- Sound financial and business management acumen
Key Responsibilities
- Taking full clinical and operational responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursing home
- Ensuring the delivery of outstanding person-centred care across all areas of the home
- Maintaining and building upon the home's Good CQC rating through rigorous compliance and continuous improvement
- Leading, inspiring, and developing a dedicated nursing and care team
- Overseeing clinical governance, safeguarding, risk management, and audit processes
- Managing budgets, staffing, and resources effectively and sustainably
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners, and healthcare professionals
- Acting as the Registered Manager with CQC, taking accountability for all regulatory requirements
- Driving a culture of compassion, dignity, and respect throughout the home
