Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3)
£27,000–£33,000 per year | Full Time
Recently refurbished, the nursery offers bright, airy rooms that have been carefully designed to inspire curiosity and support every stage of children's development.
Outside, children benefit from a fantastic outdoor environment that's accessible throughout the year, allowing them to enjoy fresh air, active play, and hands-on learning in every season. The nursery also delivers a dedicated school readiness programme, helping children build the confidence, independence, and key skills they'll need for a smooth transition into primary education.
As a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you'll join a welcoming and supportive team that's passionate about providing exceptional care and creating meaningful learning experiences for every child.
What We're Looking For
- Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within an early years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Your Role
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan and provide engaging activities that support children's learning, confidence, and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their individual learning journeys.
- Make full use of the nursery's indoor and outdoor learning environments to create exciting, play-based experiences.
- Support children as they develop the confidence and key skills needed for school through the nursery's school readiness programme.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
