Room Leader β Pre-Toddler Room
Β£31,800 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week | All Year Round
As a Pre-Toddler Room Leader, you'll play a vital role in helping children build confidence, curiosity, and independence every step of the way.
Our client is looking for an experienced Room Leader to lead their Pre-Toddler Room within a welcoming nursery that provides a caring, stimulating environment where children can thrive. With thoughtfully designed rooms tailored to each age group and a secure outdoor play area that forms an important part of the daily routine, the nursery offers everything children need to learn through play and exploration.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner, Deputy Room Leader, or existing Room Leader looking to lead a dedicated team and make a lasting impact during one of the most important stages of a child's development.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience in a senior role, such as Senior Nursery Practitioner, Deputy Room Leader, or Room Leader
- Experience working with toddlers or pre-toddler age groups
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the Pre-Toddler Room
- Support and mentor practitioners to deliver outstanding early years practice
- Plan and oversee engaging activities that promote children's learning and development
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can flourish
- Monitor children's progress through observations and assessments
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Encourage outdoor learning through daily use of the secure outdoor play area
- Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
