Staff Nurse – RGN
£22.00 per hour | 33 Hours per Week | Day Shifts | Elderly Care
This is an opportunity for an experienced Registered General Nurse to join a welcoming nursing home providing high-quality care for older adults.
With beautifully designed interiors, excellent facilities and a strong focus on personalised and dignified care, the home provides a comfortable environment where residents are supported according to their individual nursing and wellbeing needs.
We’re looking for an RGN with previous nursing home experience who can bring strong clinical knowledge, confident decision-making and a compassionate approach to the team.

What You’ll Need
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC registration – essential
- Previous nursing home experience – essential
- Experience supporting older adults with a range of nursing needs
- Good understanding of dementia care
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Confidence with medication administration, care planning and risk assessments
- Ability to recognise and respond appropriately to changes in residents’ health
- Good knowledge of safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance
- Strong communication skills with residents, families and healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and person-centred approach to nursing
What You’ll Do
- Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care throughout the day
- Assess and monitor residents’ individual and changing healthcare needs
- Administer medications safely and maintain accurate clinical records
- Develop, review and update care plans and risk assessments
- Recognise changes in residents’ conditions and escalate concerns appropriately
- Support residents living with dementia and other nursing needs
- Provide clinical guidance to care colleagues when required
- Liaise with residents, relatives, GPs and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, infection control and clinical practice
- Promote residents’ dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing
