Nursery Manager - Brand-New Nursery Opening

Up to £50,000 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week

We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Nursery Manager to take the lead in launching an exciting new setting, creating a positive culture, building a high-performing team, and delivering outstanding early years education from day one. As Nursery Manager, you'll be responsible for establishing high standards across every aspect of the setting, ensuring children receive exceptional care and education while supporting your team to thrive in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nursery Manager
  • Proven experience managing a large nursery setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
  • Experience leading, motivating, and developing nursery teams
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Experience managing occupancy, budgets, and day-to-day nursery operations
  • Passion for delivering outstanding early years education

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful opening and day-to-day management of the new nursery
  • Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing early years team
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and child-centred culture throughout the nursery
  • Ensure the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding are maintained
  • Oversee occupancy, staffing, budgets, and operational performance
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community
  • Support staff through coaching, mentoring, and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS requirements, Ofsted standards, and nursery policies
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain outstanding standards across the setting
