Our client is a growing, family-run care business with a genuine commitment to quality at every level. As they continue to expand, they are now looking for an experienced and nurse-qualified Care and Quality Manager to join their senior team - playing a pivotal role in maintaining and driving the standards of care across their homes.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current, valid NMC PIN - essential
- Senior experience in a Home Manager or Care and Compliance or similar role – essential
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across different regions - essential
- Strong, working knowledge of CQC standards, regulations, and inspection processes
- Experience conducting audits and driving quality improvement across care settings
- Confident working independently across multiple sites and regions
- A collaborative, supportive leadership style with the ability to challenge constructively
- Highly organised, analytical, and able to influence and inspire at all levels
Key Responsibilities
- Leading on quality assurance and compliance across multiple homes within the group
- Conducting clinical and operational audits, developing clear improvement plans, and monitoring progress to completion
- Supporting Home Managers with CQC preparation, inspection readiness, and post-inspection action planning
- Developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice
- Identifying clinical and operational risks across the group and working proactively with home-based teams to address them
- Providing hands-on support, guidance, and challenge to Home Managers on quality and clinical matters
- Monitoring and reporting on quality metrics across the group, escalating concerns to senior leadership as required
- Travelling across regions as required to provide consistent, visible quality leadership
