Clinical Deputy Nurse Manager (RGN/RMN)

Β£50,000 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week | 50/50 split across supernumerary and clinical hours

Our client is looking for a Clinical Deputy Nurse Manager to join a beautifully presented nursing home providing exceptional residential, nursing, dementia, and end of life care. Set within stunning surroundings with secure, landscaped gardens, the home offers a calm, welcoming environment where residents receive compassionate, person-centred care tailored to their individual needs.

This is a leadership role offering a 50/50 split between supernumerary management responsibilities and clinical shifts, giving you the opportunity to remain hands-on while supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day leadership of the service.

This role is ideal for an experienced Clinical Lead who is ready to step into a Deputy Manager position or an existing Clinical Deputy Manager looking for a new challenge within a quality-focused care provider.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC PIN
  • Previous experience within a nursing home setting
  • Minimum experience as a Clinical Lead
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
  • Experience supporting the management of a nursing home
  • Good understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, clinical governance, and compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the home
  • Provide strong clinical leadership across residential, nursing, dementia, and end of life care services
  • Split your time between supernumerary leadership responsibilities and clinical nursing shifts
  • Support and develop nursing and care teams through coaching, mentoring, and clinical guidance
  • Ensure high standards of care, medication management, and clinical documentation
  • Lead on clinical audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and best practice standards
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
  • Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
