Sous Chef – Luxury Care Home – £31,200 – Full-Time
Food is a key part of how residents experience each day in this luxury care home. As Sous Chef, you’ll work side by side with the Head Chef, taking real ownership of service, standards, and the quality of every plate that leaves the kitchen.
This is a role for someone who enjoys providing a find dining experience and working in a setting where high standards matter.

What You’ll Need: Essential
- Experience as a Sous Chef, within a care home or similar setting
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen standards
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements
- Relevant food hygiene or supervisory qualifications
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and service delivery
- Prepare and present meals to a consistently high standard
- Step into leadership during shifts, guiding and supervising the kitchen team
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health compliance at all times
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management
- Work closely with care teams to meet individual dietary needs
