Our client is an established healthcare provider looking for an experienced and passionate Learning and Development Coordinator in Health and Social Care to deliver high-quality training across their nursing and residential homes in the North West. This is a field-based role with real variety - covering a wide range of training subjects, supporting new home inductions, and playing a central part in ensuring staff across the group are skilled, confident, and compliant.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • L3 in Education and Training or equivalent recognised teaching/training qualification - essential
  • Proven experience delivering care-related training across a varied range of subjects - essential
  • Up-to-date knowledge and experience in Safeguarding, Moving and Assisting, First Aid, and Basic Life Support - essential
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including Skills for Care and CQC standards
  • NUCO and RoSPA qualifications - desirable
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites across the South East - essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, planning, and delivering a wide range of training courses across multiple sites, including Safeguarding, Moving and Assisting, First Aid, Dementia, and the Mental Capacity Act
  • Conducting learner assessments and ensuring outcomes meet Skills for Care and CQC standards
  • Supporting induction training for new homes and employees, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery
  • Facilitating and leading Champion programmes, supporting home champions to achieve required standards
  • Maintaining accurate training records and adapting to varying operational needs across the group
  • Providing guidance and troubleshooting support on the e-learning system
  • Keeping training content and methods current and aligned with best practice, Skills for Care guidance, and CQC requirements
  • Designing new course content as required to meet emerging training needs
