We’re looking for a Deputy Nurse Manager to join a welcoming nursing home that provides outstanding care for older adults with nursing and dementia needs. As Deputy Nurse Manager, you’ll work alongside a passionate management team, playing a key part in leading the staff, supporting high-quality care, and keeping the home running smoothly.


Who We’re Looking For:


  • Registered Nurse (NMC Pin essential) with experience in a leadership or management role
  • Experience within a nursing home setting and a strong understanding of dementia and general nursing care.
  • Excellent communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
  • A compassionate and proactive leader who can inspire and support a team to deliver outstanding care.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and high standards of clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams, ensuring a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Support the Registered Manager in maintaining compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the delivery of person-centred care, ensuring dignity, respect, and compassion remain at the heart of all practices.
  • Lead and support staff with training, development, and revalidation processes.
  • Manage clinical governance and ensure high-quality documentation and reporting.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, their families, and external professionals to enhance the quality of care.
