This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for a term-time position with shorter daytime hours.

- Full and relevant
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification .
- Previous experience within a nursery or early years environment.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection requirements.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor, nature-based and play-led learning.
- A caring and patient approach to supporting young children.
- Confidence encouraging children's independence and curiosity.

Your Role
- Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
- Create engaging activities based around children's individual interests and developmental needs.
- Encourage children to explore nature and learn through practical, hands-on experiences.
- Support activities including planting and growing vegetables, water exploration, sand and messy play.
- Make effective use of the outdoor environment to extend children's learning.
- Support children's confidence, independence and social development.
- Observe children's progress and contribute to their individual learning journeys.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, secure and stimulating environment throughout the day.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
