We are recruiting a Deputy Children’s Home Manager for a therapeutic children’s residential home supporting young people with complex needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). About You

We are looking for someone who already has experience in a senior role within children’s residential care and is confident supporting both staff and young people. You will ideally have:

  • A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Children’s Residential Care
  • Around two years’ experience in a senior or leadership role within a children’s residential setting
  • A good understanding of therapeutic care and EBD
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • A full driving licence and access to a car

  • Support the Home Manager with daily operations and staff supervision
  • Lead shifts, coach staff, and help maintain high standards of care
  • Remain hands‑on, supporting young people directly
