This position is available within either the Baby Room or Pre-School Room, making it ideal for a strong early years professional who enjoys leading a team, supporting children’s development, and maintaining excellent standards of practice. You'll play a key role in creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs and SEND
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and support colleagues

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of either the Baby Room or Pre-School Room
  • Support and mentor colleagues within the room
  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
  • Plan engaging activities that support children’s development and interests
  • Monitor children’s progress and identify individual support needs
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards are consistently maintained
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment where all children can flourish
