This Deputy Nursery Manager role is based in a well-established nursery, it has extensive outdoor spaces and focus on personalised care for each child. It’s a full-time, all year round position suited to an experienced Level 3 qualified Deputy Nursery Manager who is confident supporting the day-to‑day running of a nursery and maintaining high standards of care, compliance, and team performance.

What you’ll need

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager or in a senior nursery role
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and nursery operations
  • Ability to lead a team and make confident operational decisions

What you’ll do

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Lead and supervise staff to maintain high standards of care and practice
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and regulatory requirementsOversee planning and delivery of activities that support child development
  • Build strong working relationships with parents and carers
  • Monitor staff performance and contribute to training and development
