Nestled in a characterful setting, our client is a small, well-regarded residential home providing personalised care to older adults with dementia, and a Good CQC rating. The team is committed to creating a true 'home from home' atmosphere where residents are supported to live as independently as possible, with dignity, warmth and compassion at the core. Our client is now looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Home Manager to lead this special home and continue building on its well-earned reputation.

What Our Client Is Looking For
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care — essential
  • Current or recent CQC Registered Manager status — strongly preferred
  • Our client will also consider an experienced Deputy Manager with a strong, proven track record who is ready to take the step up
  • Solid knowledge of CQC regulations and experience managing inspections
  • A warm, person-centred leadership style that reflects the home's ethos
  • Experience in residential and/or dementia care for older adults

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day management and leadership of the home
  • Maintaining and building upon the home's Good CQC rating through outstanding practice
  • Leading, inspiring, and developing a dedicated care team who share the home's values
  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and all relevant legislation
  • Managing budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to ensure the home runs smoothly
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the wider community
  • Championing a 'home from home' culture where every resident feels safe, valued, and respected
