Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join their friendly nursery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident early years professional who enjoys supporting children to thrive while mentoring colleagues and maintaining high standards of practice within the room.

  • Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support, mentor, and develop team members within the room
  • Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences that support children’s development
  • Monitor children’s progress through observations and assessments
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Promote high standards of practice across the room
  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
