Our client is a Good CQC-rated nursing home with a warm, homely feel and a strong, established team. Providing nursing, dementia, and residential care, this is a setting where high standards and genuine compassion go hand in hand. They are now looking for an experienced Staff Nurse for a predominantly day-based role, with occasional night cover required.
What Our Client Is Looking For- Current, unrestricted NMC registration - RGN or RMN essential
- Proven post-registration experience within a nursing home or similar setting - essential
- Please note: our client is unable to consider newly qualified nurses for this position
- Confident leading a shift independently and making sound clinical decisions
- A warm, compassionate approach that reflects the home's homely, resident-first culture
- Flexible and reliable, with a willingness to cover occasional nights when the team needs support

- Taking responsibility for the smooth and safe running of the home during day shifts
- Conducting and reviewing care assessments and care plans in line with each resident's individual needs
- Administering medications safely and accurately in accordance with NMC guidelines
- Supervising and supporting care staff on shift, acting as the senior clinical presence
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and records throughout each shift
- Providing occasional night shift cover for annual leave and sickness when required
