Day Shifts, with flexibility to cover nights - £20.00 per hour + Paid Breaks | 36 hours per week | CQC Rating – Good

Our client is a Good CQC-rated nursing home with a warm, homely feel and a strong, established team. Providing nursing, dementia, and residential care, this is a setting where high standards and genuine compassion go hand in hand. They are now looking for an experienced Staff Nurse for a predominantly day-based role, with occasional night cover required.

What Our Client Is Looking For
  • Current, unrestricted NMC registration - RGN or RMN essential
  • Proven post-registration experience within a nursing home or similar setting - essential
  • Please note: our client is unable to consider newly qualified nurses for this position
  • Confident leading a shift independently and making sound clinical decisions
  • A warm, compassionate approach that reflects the home's homely, resident-first culture
  • Flexible and reliable, with a willingness to cover occasional nights when the team needs support

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care across nursing, dementia, and residential care
  • Taking responsibility for the smooth and safe running of the home during day shifts
  • Conducting and reviewing care assessments and care plans in line with each resident's individual needs
  • Administering medications safely and accurately in accordance with NMC guidelines
  • Supervising and supporting care staff on shift, acting as the senior clinical presence
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and records throughout each shift
  • Providing occasional night shift cover for annual leave and sickness when required
