This role is ideal for an experienced early Room Leader who enjoys leading a team, creating inspiring learning environments, and delivering exceptional care and education.

We’re looking for someone who holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification and has previous experience working within a nursery setting, ideally in a Room Leader role. The successful candidate will be confident supporting colleagues, have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, and be committed to providing outstanding learning experiences that help children thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar leadership role
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of Montessori approaches and child‑led learning (desirable)
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for delivering high‑quality childcare and education

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day‑to‑day running of your designated room
  • Support and develop team members to deliver outstanding practice
  • Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences in line with EYFS and Montessori‑inspired approaches
  • Create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Monitor children’s development and support positive outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards are consistently maintained
  • Contribute to the continued success of the nursery and wider organisation
